Have just returned from a 6 day sailing trip from Cartegena to Panama... absolutely an amazing experience. 6 days on a boat with great people, great food and the islands are unbelievable. Exactly what you expect paradise to look like! Had an amazing time and very sad that it\'s all over!

Sailing to panama from cartegna or the oppsite way is the only way to go. The San blas islands are gorgeous and is something you have to see for yourself. The boat the seeadler was a comfortable sail. The captain and his side kick connie are very easy going and entertaining.

The trip from Cartagena to Panama was great. 2 days sailing and a few days on the San Blas Islands. The islands are amazing, its exactly what you imagine on a postcard...white beaches with crystal clear water. The boat Seeadler was comfortable and we weren't squashed on..all 11 of us!! The food was good, but be warned, we didnt have a shower on the boat so that wasnt too nice, especially since its very hot and sticky! There was a fresh water well on one of the islands that we could use to wash but we didnt get there til the 3rd day. Definately the way to travel from Cartagen to Panama!

just returned from 6 day trip on seeadler with captain Guido and first mate Konny. from the moment you arrive onboard you are made feel at home.Guido provides endless entertainment with stories from his past( some so unbelievable that you couldnt possibly make them up)while konny provides the food and company. the journey from cartagena to san blas is not short but when you catch your first glimpse of san blass you realise all of the night watch and endless cruising were completely worth it.its amazing to jump off the boat and swim to an uninhabitad island and just explore the place for yourself. We had a wonderful bbq that night with another boat visiting the island and it was a great experience just sitting around the camp fire talking with everyone. After this part of the trip guido takes us to the main island where he took care of immigration. We set off early the next day then when we arrived in Guidos home town and he welcomed us to his hostel. Place is very nice and clean so there can be no complaints either. Would like to especially mention that one of the girls on our trip had to leave a day early because of a flight and guido once again went out of his way to organise a boat to pick her up while we were cruising along and take her ahead to immigration and her taxi to panama city, so a thank you is due here as well. All in all an amazing trip and I will be recommending Guido and Konny to anyone I hear wishing to take the trip in the future. Thanks for the trip!!!

Did the 5 day boat trip leaving from Cartagena. Arrived in paradise on the 3rd day. Snorkling, pristine white beaches, tropical fish. Food was great, especially breakfast. Fresh fruit and vegetables and tasty meals. Guido's entertaining and endless stories and (2 can)Konnys great food and company. Seeadler comes highly recommended.

the six day trip from cartegena to panama was an amazing experience, specially waking up on the 3rd day to the sand blas islands. The two man crew were very freindly and made life on the boat very enjoyable and i would highly recommend it to everyone who is considering making the the trip.

Relaxed vibe and beautiful location. Chilled in the hammocks, cooked fresh fish in the kitchen and loved the traditional house where I slept. Recommend to anyone coming in from a sail before hitting the big city.

On a motorbike touring adventure from La to BA, we came across the tourers nightmare of the darrien gap. After many drunk discussions of daring this infamous gap we concluded it best to play it safe and sail the bikes around. This brought us to hostel wonderbar. A tourer's dream. Bikes and all we head on a sailing trip of a life time through the san blais islands and down to columbia. Awesome place to stay, drink and catch up with the owners, also worth a metion, they did head us out with a little speeding incident with the panama police. Diffinetly recommend a visit!!!
