Definitely a place to stay for several nights (fridge, cooking facility and transportation to Isla Grande available). Hosts are pretty relaxed and flexible. Lots of people choose this as starting point to San Blas and Colombia. We enjoyed our stay. Nice people and nice atmosphere!

Sylvia was a great host and very helpful in organising a boat for us from Puerto Lindo to Cartagena. Hostel Wunderbar is a great place to relax and has a nice open common area with a pool table too! For our first night we had a pizza party with pizza\'s prepared in the new pizza oven...amazing! Definitely recommend staying here!

Hostel Wunderbar is really "wunderbar"!!! Nice wooden dorm and private room, chilled out atmosphere. Puerto lindo is nice to relax as well, lonely beautiful beaches next to the hostel. Well, but the best is the sailingtrip to cartagena. Nice adventure. The organistation was really good. We booked easliy via internet, we payed 100USD in advance, the rest when we got to puerto lindo. Everthing went as it had been told before. With kaptain Konny on the boat Iliki it was a lot of fun and he cooked good meals for us, too!!! Thanks again to the whole crew of Hostelwunderbar!!

Thanks so much Silvia for helping look after me when my foot was infected. If it hadn't been for you I wouldn't have realised how serious it was and it might have got much worse! But it all ended well and I had a great time! Really glad you took bookings and payment in advance too, so we could secure our trip before arriving in Panama. None of the million other places we spoke to would do that!

We traveled on the Iliki from Cartagena to Puerto Lindo in 5 days and had an excellent time. Captain Konny was very helpful, professional and was able to show us some of the great islands in the San Blas Archipelago. We also stayed for a few days at Hostel Wunderbar in Puerto Lindo, enjoying the sun shine and tranquility of the place. Silvia was very helpful, organising any activities that we were interested in or just providing information about the area. Would definitely come here again if the opportunity presents itself. Thanks for a great time!

Just got to Cartagena after 5 days at sea. It was a fun and wonderful experience. Many thanks to our captain, Konny for everything and especially for very good food that he cooked for us whatever the weather. We got to meet the Kuna people and see as much as we had never seen without your help. Thanks also to Hostel Wonderbar in Puerto Lindo for a nice visit and warm welcome before the trip. Many warm hugs, the Swedes

My mate and I made the trip from Puerto Lindo to Cartagena on the Frederika back in October and throughly enjoyed the whole experience. Captain Israel really looked after us - the boat was very comfortable, the food was great, he took us to some amazing islands with beautiful snorkling spots and genuinely wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Israel really knows his stuff, we always felt completely safe and he was very good at communicating what was going to happen and what he expected from us. A highlight was taking turns at the wheel (under the captain's watchful eye) once we hit the open sea. We were very lucky with the weather, plain sailing on calm seas all the way to Cartagena. I'd definitely recommend the SY Frederika for anyone looking to make the journey across to Colombia with a bit of fun and adventure. Thanks Israel!

Representing a family of six people I can represent that the sailing trip from Puerto Lindo to Cartagena is memorable, exciting, picturesque but also uncomfortable for those that arent used to sailing. But whats an adventure without a little challenge. Silvia was very accomodating and recommended a delay in our departure due to high winds and waves. We ended up staying five nights at HostelWunderbar which is more than anybody would want given control of the situation. Nevertheless, Silvia was very polite and helpful during those rain and storm delayed days. Our captain David proved very proficient and his boat Tango more than met our needs. David caught three fish including a six foot marlin that added considerable excitement for our family. He captained the boat thru two rain storms during the middle of the night, which we slept thru mostly. The experience will be a wonderful memory for our family. I highly recommend the experience for those seeking adventure and something new. We mostly did not get sick, but we stared at the horizon most of the time on the boat. For those seeking a comfortable way of getting to Colombia and Cartagena specifically, Im sorry to say I dont recommend this route. But if you are reading this you are the outgoing, adventure seeking, out of comfort zone types anyway and it wont matter. I would do it again, and wish all of you the best.
