Hostel Wunderbar is a great find. Easy access to the nearby islands and adventures plus very kind owners. The hostel has a relaxed setting, comfortable beds, and a nice commons area for having beer or coffee and good conversation. Also, a great spot for starting a journey to Cartagena via the San Blas islands.

Hostel Wunderbar is a beautiful and really relaxing place. If you go there, you will find a absolute friendly couple who can give you really helpful information about trips to Colombia and the to the islands around or to any other place. The Hostel is very clean, with comfortable beds and bathrooms. You will find a lot of bamboo constructions and everything is like open, as well the well equipped kitchen, which makes the whole place breezy... We had there a absolute perfect time and we can really recommend the Hostel, because its really WUNDERBAR!

Hostel Wunderbar is a very beautiful hostel in Puerto Lindo. Sleeping in the Kuna House in Hostel Wunderbar is an unforgettable experience when you stay in Panama, Puerto Lindo. We stayed for only three nights but will remember it very long. The hostel keepers, Sylvia and Guido, will do everything to make your stay pleasant. They will help you to plan the boat trip to Cartagena or to Isla Grande and will give you useful information for the rest of your staying in Panama. If you plan to take the boat to Cartagena, stay a night in Hostel Wunderbar!!!

we had a very nice time in wunderbar and with the help from guido and silvia we could go to chichime in kuna yala and stay in a very lovely family. it was a great experiance. both organized a good and save trip with a sailing boat on the way to cartagena. and we got all the information to go back to puerto lindo.
Guido and Silvia: thanks a lot for everything, we will recommend your business wherever we can.

We came with no plans and the couple here was extremely helpful. They helped get us a taxi to Marimar and contacted a local Kuna family for us in San Blas. The accommodations at the hostel were very nice and the stay we had in San Blas was breathtaking. We highly recommend this hostel to anyone coming to the north coast or the country of Panama.

Hostel Wunderbar were incredibly helpful in organising a boat for us to sail from Panama to Cartagenia. The hostel is a lovely, peaceful place to chill out for a few days, and a big advantage with going through this hostel is that the boat leaves 300 metres from here, so no additional traveling to San Blas first, and extra sailing time. Sylvia and Guido who own the hostel have a huge amount of sailing experience, so you can be sure any boats they work with are safe, well equipped, with well known and reliable captains. An excellent, professional experience.

If you are thinking of taking a boat to Colombia then Hostel Wunderbar should most definately be your first port of call. The owners are experienced sailors and know all the captains that their guests book through. I conversed by email with them for several days before the trip and am very happy with the boat and captain.
Hostel Wunderbar is beautifully situated and very close to the port where the boats leave. The hostel has great facilities and comfy beds and it's a great place to come for a few days before of after your boat trip. It certainly beats a 5am start from Panama City.
I highly recommend this hostel
