The Hostel Wunderbar

The hostel is newly built in 2007, and has 1200m² groundspace with 2 stone houses and a very big orginal kuna-house the 'Congresso' which was built without any modern materials.
There is a seperate kitchen and living area for the kuna house guests and another for the main house guests. Toilets and showers are located in a separate kuna-style building, consisting of 1 urinal, 1 mens-wc, 2 womans-wc and 4 showers. The terrace is more than 120m², and is fully tiled. The kuna house itself is open on one side and looks out over palm trees and the Rio Pina, which winds its way from the hostel to the ocean.
Our hostel is only a 5 minute walk from the little village of Puerto Lindo. However, there is a little tienda-shop, where you can get basic food just over the road, while a local bar is within 2 minutes distance. The harbour of Puerto Lindo has a 100m long pontoon and a beach, both of which are only a 3 minute walk away.
Internet and Phone is available at the hostel. The following recreational activities are currently available: pool, table-tennis, volleyball, and darts, as well as other boardgames. For rainy days we also have a 50 channel satelite television as well as about 200 movies on DVD.
We have a little restaurant in front of our door with offers local food, chicken, meet, fish, patagones, rice, fries, beans for about 2-3 US$, as well as burgers and hot dogs. You can also order pizza from another restaurant which does home-deliveries.
