hi, "wunderbar" is a great place, just between portobelo and isla grande. both directions good connections by bus or hitchhiking. the village porto lindo is a nice, quiet and small village with few tourists, so a good place to relax. guido and silvia are helpful in any topics, like going to san blas or exploring the surrounding. the hostal is the right place to hang around in a nice chilly garden with hammocks in a nice family athmosphere. very recommendable

Great little spot here at the end of the world. These folks are great and super helpful. I rolled in late at night here and they set me up, got me some water, a shower and a beer. Nuf said.

I am riding around the world on my motorbike (www.riderightround.org) and needed help getting my bike around the Darien Gap and to Colombia. Silvia was great, she takes the time to find out which boats are around and is integral in taking the effort out of the organisation. Guido also happens to be a metal worker and was able to help me weld up my broken engine mount and keep me on the road. He also has some great travelling stories. Great organisation, get in touch with the hostel in plenty of time for them to help you with you options and get things sorted. Simon

Great environment at this hostel, good beds, lots of open space set against the jungle and close to town center. If you are planning to go by sailboat up or down the coast of San Blas or to Columbia THEY are the best organisers and will help you find a boat. David

Hostel Wunderbar is safe and comfortable, and Silvia and Guido have been very helpful. Definitely THE place to stay in Puerto Lindo.

Vielen Dank für die geile Zeit im perfekten Backpcacker-Hostel. Alle Tipps waren super. Grüße auch an den Katamaran-Koenig Giespert. Wir hatten eine tolle Tour mit ihm. Hoffentlich geht es euch gut. As Enya said... Sail away sail away sail away. It can take a couple of days to get your sea legs, but after that sailing is incredible. Especially when you just lie in the sun and let the captain do all the work. Now thats living. The hostel is clean and in a great location Peace.
